On Wednesday 9 January (17:00 CET) Deltares is setting up a Webinar entitled: Daniel Twigt (Deltares) will present the Webinar “Operational Forecasting, Delft3D and Delft-FEWS”.

Delft-FEWS, a sophisticated collection of modules designed for building operational water management systems, is used around the world for operational forecasting. Increasingly, these Delft-FEWS systems also run Delft3D based models for a range of different applications, like storm surge forecasting, water quality forecasting and forecasting of wave conditions.

In this webinar, Deltares will give a brief introduction to Delft-FEWS. Subsequently, Deltares focuses on a number of different Delft3D applications in Delft-FEWS, outlining the different ways in which Delft3D is currently used for operational forecasting.
