Last Saturday, February 2nd, Damen celebrated the keel laying of an 80-metre Crane Barge 8025 for client BAM International.
The Damen CBa 8025 is executed with a day accommodation and will be named ‘IB 429’. The scheduled delivery time is April 2013.
The crane barge is being built at Damen’s partner yard Nantong Yahua Shipyards (China).
Currently Damen is building several barges on order and for stock position. The stock building programme is leading to ultra-short delivery times.
