Engineering group Monadelphous said it has been awarded, through its wholly owned subsidiary KT Pty Ltd, a contract for the engineering, procurement and construction of the gas export pipeline for the Ichthys Project onshore LNG facilities in Darwin, Northern Territory.
This agreement is with JKC Australia LNG Pty Ltd, a joint venture between Japan-based JGC Corporation and Chiyoda, and KBR (Kellogg Brown & Root Pty Ltd), headquartered in the USA.
The contract is valued at approximately $90 million and is scheduled to be completed in early 2015.
