Colonna’s Shipyard Inc., Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $17,942,143 fixed-price contract for a dry-docking phased maintenance availability on the USS Monsoon (PC 4) for the accomplishment of miscellaneous structural, electrical and mechanical repairs, including dry-docking.
This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the contract value to $18,690,252. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by February 2014. Fiscal 2013 Operations and Maintenance, Navy funding in the amount of $17,942,143 will be obligated at the time of the award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
