Vietnam: HVS Holds Naming Ceremony for Geden’s New Vessel

In the morning of February 21st 2013, Naming Ceremony of Hull No. S051 successfully took place at Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyard (HVS).

At the ceremony, the vessel was honorably named “Capital” by HVS President’s spouse, Mrs. S. O. Kwon.

After the unveiling ceremony, the ceremonial horn-honking and a ship tour on board smoothly followed.

The delivery-related document was signed on the same day when the Naming Ceremony was held and right in that afternoon, the vessel started her first voyage contributing to the owner’s prosperity.

“Capital” is the last in a series of 8 sisters built by Hyundai-Vinashin shipyard for Geden Lines , Turkey.

The vessel is 188m in length, 32.26m in width, 18.3m in depth. The maximum of cargo holds is 7.700 m3.
