Croatian shipbuilder 3. MAJ delivered tanker ’SAO DOMINGOS SAVIO’ to the Swedish company WISBY TANKERS on 1 March 2013. The tanker, designed to carry concrete, oil and chemicals, is 133 meters long and 23 meters wide.

The newbuild features the loading capacity of 15,000 DWT and is propelled by the 3.MAJ-Wartsila 6 RT Flex 35 engine (MAIN ENGINE OUTPUT 4500 kW at 144 min-1).

His Excellency, Ambassador of Sweden in Croatia, Mr. NJ.E. Fredrik Vahlquist delivered the opening speech at the ceremony.

This state-of-the-art vessel classified by BUREAU VERITAS will sail under the Marshall Islands flag.
