The Cryodynamics Division of Ebara International Corporation announced their recent contract award from JGC in Yokohama, Japan, to deliver 12 Cryogenic Pumps & Expanders (8 Pumps, 2 Expanders, 2 Capital Spare Expanders) for the upcoming Malaysia LNG Train 9 Project, scheduled for facility completion at the end of 2015.
This additional train, Train 9, will have a capacity of approximately 3.6 million tons of LNG per year and its feedstock will be supplied from PETRONAS’ newly developed offshore gas fields, off the coast of Sarawak, Malaysia.
