Mexico: PEMEX, Mitsui to Develop Gas Pipeline

Emilio Lozoya Austin, Director General of PEMEX,said that Petróleos Mexicanos PEMEX and Mitsui will develop a gas pipeline, a project of approximately $ 460 million USD which will permit the importation of 770 million cubic feet per day of gas from the United States to Mexico.

President Enrique Peña Nieto was present at the signing of the memorandum of understanding and cooperation between Petróleos Mexicanos PEMEX and Mitsui.

This signing of the Memorandum of Understanding reflects the interest of the president of Mexico in strengthening economic, trade and cultural ties between Japan and Mexico, President Enrique Peña Nieto said in a statement.
