Every three years leading experts meet for the World Dredging Congress and Exhibition (known as WODCON), the single most important event for the world wide dredging community to discuss the latest developments of their profession.
With the theme “The Art of Dredging” WODCON XX brought together researchers and practitioners from industry, academia and government from all parts of the world (35 countries) to discuss the latest developments on all aspects of dredging and the construction and maintenance of water based infrastructure.
This video was prepared by CEDA on the occasion of the 20th edition of the World Dredging Congress and Exhibition XX ( 3-7 June 2013, Brussels, Belgium). It covers a time span of 46 years from WODCON I in 1967 in New York, USA which faces and moments of 20 WODCONs and major milestones of the dredging industry.
