RasGas of Qatar said that it achieved yet another successful milestone when the first delivery of Liquefied Natural Gas arrived at the Manzanillo LNG receiving terminal, Mexico.

The LNG cargo was sent to Mexico through RasGas customer RWE.

The cargo, which went across the Pacific Ocean to reach Manzanillo in Mexico’s west coast, was delivered aboard the RWE chartered conventional sized vessel, Cadiz Knutsen.

“ The delivery of this cargo via collaboration with our customers in the short term market is a great achievement for RasGas and Qatar as well as for our customer, RWE ,” said Khalid Sultan R. Al Kuwari, RasGas’ Chief Marketing and Shipping Officer .

“ This delivery also adds to our global reach in the markets we serve. It is a further demonstration of our ability to supply and deliver LNG reliably and safely ,” he said.
