SHI Bags USD 400 Mln Order for Two LNG Carriers (South Korea)

Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) of South Korea has secured a contract for two LNG carriers worth $400 million .

SHI revealed in a regulatory filling to the Korea Stock Exchange that it will deliver the two liquefied natural gas tankers by October 2016 to an unrevealed company from North America.

SHI specializes in building high added-value and special purpose vessels and it is one of the largest shipbuilders in the world.
