Gas Natural Fenosa said it has signed an agreement with KOGAS of South Korea to supply the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG with 1-1.5 bcm of gas over the next two years.

The deal strengthens the position of Gas Natural Fenosa as a global LNG operator and reinforces its growth in Asia, the company said in a statement.

Gas Natural Fenosa has a natural gas and LNG supply portfolio of around 30 bcm and a fleet of 10 LNG tankers (7 belonging to Gas Natural Fenosa, 2 Unión Fenosa Gas and 2 jointly owned by Repsol), making it one of the major global LNG operators and the benchmark company in the Atlantic basin and the Mediterranean.
