Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) announced in its regulatory filing that the company has exercised an option to build two 82,000 dwt bulk carriers for a total consideration of KRW 55.9 billion (approx. USD 52.7 million). The company did not disclose the name of the shipyard that will build the vessels.

The company also said that the delivery of the vessels is expected in July 2016.
