Astilleros Gondan yard from Spain delivered an environmentally friendly platform supply vessel Edda Ferd to Østensjø Rederi today.
The vessel is on a long-term charter contract with Shell UK and therefore it will set sail to Aberdeen in a couple of days
Edda Ferd is an offshore support vessel which has a host of innovative solutions onboard, and it has been designed with focus on quality, safety and efficiency of the highest kind. As stated by the owner, Østensjø, Edda Ferd is the world’s most environmentally friendly PSV.
Østensjø continues : “We very much look forward to putting her into service for Shell UK, thereby continuing an almost 40 year long cooperation between the companies. Congratulations to all parties involved in the building process on a job well done!”
