In October TGE Marine delivered 3 cylindrical, fully insulated, LNG type C cargo tanks with a total volume of 16,100 m3 to Wison’s Nantong shipyard facilities for the world’s first floating LNG liquefaction barge to be owned and operated by EXMAR. The transportation barge arrived at the Wison berth on the contractually agreed delivery time.
TGE Marine’s and Wison’s experts had developed a comprehensive lifting and installation procedure which guaranteed a smooth and successful operation.
TGE Marine has a track record of delivery and installation of more than 200 large type C cargo tanks for LPG, ethylene and LNG service. The current order book with its Chinese partner JNHI comprises some 50 large cargo tanks scheduled for delivery in 2014 and 2015.
