Navig8 Product Tankers Inc. announced that it has declared effective two further shipbuilding contracts for the construction of two additional ECO LR2 tankers to be built at Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI).
The two new ECO LR2 tankers have identical specifications as the Company’s firm vessels already on order with GSI. The delivery dates for the two new tankers are scheduled for Q4 2016 delivery.
The Company has now declared and used up all its current newbuild options with GSI and Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co, Ltd (Sungdong) and now has a total of eighteen (18) ECO LR2 tankers on firm order with the two yards for 2015/16 scheduled delivery.
