Uptime 23,4m AMC gangway has been used during operation at the Borkum West offshore wind farm.
To access Borkum West’s wind turbines and substation, the 3-axis compensated UPTIME gangway was attached on the Island Crown vessel from Island Offshore. The gangway is 23,4m long and has a height adjustable pedestal.
This access system allows the crew via a motion compensated gangway to transfer safely from the transport vessel to turbines and substations. The vessel is free to move with the sea but the gangway is stationary against the offshore structure.
