Decmil Group has been awarded a QCLNG Upstream Project Wellsite Installation Services Contract.
The contract, which is worth up to $80 million, is an extension of an existing contract with QGC and has been awarded to the Group’s subsidiary business Eastcoast Development Engineering.
The win demonstrates the strong relationship between QGC and EDE, working together collaboratively for the past three years.
The previous contract awarded to EDE was in excess of $98 million for the mechanical, spool and installation of QGC Wellheads.
Decmil CEO Scott Criddle said: “This is a landmark win for EDE, a Brisbane-based business which Decmil Group acquired in April 2013. It demonstrates the success of our strategy to diversify the business, and further increases our presence on the East Coast.
“The win strengthens our position in the resources and oil & gas industries, which has been an increasing focus for the Group over recent years,” Mr Criddle said.
