Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (ZPMC) recently delivered a 3,000t shallow water pipe-laying ship to a Malaysian customer.
ZPMC has successfully applied standardized shipbuilding technologies to the ship, adjusted to the specific needs of the customer.
The main measures of this vessel are 169 meters in length and a molded breadth of 46 meters. The ship is applicable to various marine engineering operations at a water depth of 300 meters such as hoisting and submarine pipe-laying, and is seaworthy in unrestricted waters.
By fabricating a series of pipe-laying ships, ZPMC has built up a brand reputation and mastered processes of pipe-laying ship fabrication, laying a solid foundation for building a marine shipbuilding system characteristic of ZPMC
