Offshore-Windpark Riffgat GmbH is inviting tenders for environmental monitoring services for the offshore wind farm RIFFGAT. The tender stipulates provision of the necessary maritime technology – ship, as well as the required aircraft and crew.
The contractor will be required to examine benthos, fish, birds and marine mammals, starting in spring 2014.
Each of the species under protection has its own investigation period and must be monitored for at least 3 years. Investigation period may be extended.
Finally, the contractor will be required to evaluate the findings and create a final report.
