DHT Holdings, Inc. has declared its option to construct a VLCC at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (“HHI”) in South Korea with a contract price of $92.7 million, including certain additions and upgrades to the standard specification.
The contractual terms are the same as for the two VLCC orders announced in December 2013. Subsequently, the company’s current orderbook consist of three VLCCs ordered at HHI that are scheduled for delivery in April, July and September 2016.
