Navig8 Chemical Tankers Inc has signed a contract with Japanese shipyard Kitanihon Shipbuilding for the construction of additional six chemical tankers.
The 25,000-dwt vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2016 and 2017.
Details on the price for these modern Medium Range tankers were not disclosed.
Navig8 Chemical Tankers Inc., a joint venture between Navig8 and Oaktree Capital Management has eighteen chemical tankers under construction at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD), Korea.
