Scorpio Tankers Inc. has taken delivery of a MR product tanker newbuilding, STI Opera, from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co., Ltd. of South Korea.
The vessel will be time chartered-out for up to 120 days at approximately $19,000 per day.

The company has contracted 63 newbuilding vessels (30 MR, 12 LR2, and 14 Handymax ice class-1A product tankers and seven VLCCs), 43 are expected to be delivered to the Company in 2014, 16 in 2015 and four in 2016. The Company also owns 30% of Dorian LPG Ltd.
