Peru LNG shipped a cargo of liquefied natural gas to Spain’s Bilbao terminal onboard the Valencia Knutsen, a 173,400 cbm tanker, on Wednesday.
This represents the sixth cargo that departed from Peru’s only liquefaction terminal this year.
The terminal was officially inaugurated in 2010 and has a nominal capacity of 4.4 million tons of LNG per year.
