Cutting of the first steel plate for the new joint project of MTG Dolphin and IHC Merwede 2300 m3 Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger named Easy Dredge took place at the Dolphin’s yard in Varna, on 25th March, 2014.
The Easy Dredge 2300 is a standardized twin screw trailing suction hopper dredger with a hopper capacity of 2700m3, capable of dredging with one trailing suction pipe and suited to deliver the spoil either into the hopper, or directly overboard.
Main characteristics:
– Length: 81,75 m;
– Breadth: 15,80 m;
– Draft: 5,90 m.
The new joint project of MTG Dolphin and IHC Merwede will be delivered to its owner in mid 2015.
