MMT has signed an agreement with Reach Subsea ASA, Haugesund Norway for cooperation on Offshore Survey and ROV services.

The collaboration has already resulted in several contracts for the mulitpurpose vessel Stril Explorer.

At this moment MMT & Reach are collaborating on the construction and marketing of a new, innovative high-speed ROV, called “Surveyor”. The vehicle is expected to be launched towards the summer of 2014 and scheduled to be mobilized onboard Stril Explorer. The first test project is supported financially by a potential client from the oil & gas industry.

Ola Oskarsson who is MMT´s market developer comments on the progress: “The progress is very swift and our next step is to get the surveyor in the water this summer. We are very excited by the possibilities for unsurpassed efficiency and resolution this new Survey ROV will bring to the market.”
