STASCO’s Q-Max LNG carriers Zarga and Al Mafyar are concurrently undergoing routine drydocking and repairs at the Nakilat-Keppel Offshore & Marine (N-KOM) shipyard in Qatar this month.

Undergoing its first special survey, Zarga had repairs done on the water ballast tanks as well as modifications to its LNG reliquefaction plant, apart from other routine component overhauls, N-KOM said in a statement.

Al Mafyar on the other hand, was on her maiden visit to the shipyard, with routine repairs and modifications carried out on the bilge keel, Gas Combustion Unit (GCU) and other steelwork repairs.
