Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) has taken delivery of a state-of-the-art construction service vessel (CSV) ‘Normand Reach’ from Vard, Aukra (Norway).
Normand Reach is 121 meters long, 23 meters wide and has a working deck of approximately 1,300 square meters. The vessel is equipped with a subsea crane with 250 ton lifting capacity.
The vessel has accommodation for 100 people and is designed according to the latest environmental standards with focus on comfort and fuel consumption, and complies with DNV’s Clean Design notation.
Normand Reach will start on a 5 year firm chart with Reach Subsea ASA with additional 3*1 yearly options, with commencement around June 10.
A long-term facility of $ 81 million has been drawn from Eksportkreditt Norge AS. The facility is fully guaranteed by Nordea Bank Norge ASA and GIEK.
