The parties plan to develop cooperation in various shipbuilding and offshore projects that will give them the possibility to distribute the workload in the most effective way, as well as to offer a wide spectrum of vessels.
By the invitation of management of JSC Shipyard Zaliv, the expanded delegation from JSC Vyborg Shipyard visited the Crimean enterprise at the end of May 2014.
Representatives of the Vyborg yard visited the production facilities of Zaliv shipyard, followed by a meeting meeting dedicated to the prospective projects and possibilities for future cooperation. The negotiations resulted in signing of cooperation agreement between two yards.
General Director of Vyborg shipyard Mr. Alexander Solovyev pointed out that the development of domestic shipbuilding in general, and particularly shipyard loading facilities in Crimea, is the most important aim for the present day that has been put forward by the government of the state.
Solovyev also noted that Zaliv shipyard possesses technological possibilities and competences in the branch of civil shipbuilding.
Vyborg yard in turn has the considerable experience in the construction of technically sophisticated vessels and means for shelf exploration.
