Italdraghe is currently working with an Italian dredging company on a beach replenishment project at the mouth of the Tagliamento River in north east Italy.
All the equipment for the job, including a BDC 250 dredging head (fitted on a Fiat Kobelco excavator) and an SF BDC 150 cutter suction dredger, has been supplied by Italdraghe.
The combination of this equipment has proved to be a winning one and the project is well on target for completion before the peak tourist seasons kicks in.
It is hoped that this project will give a boost to local tourism attracting greater numbers of visitors, including those of the four-legged variety who will have their very own dedicated beach zone.
