Sovcomflot of Russia plans to start fueling ships with LNG by 2017, the company’s CEO Sergei Frank said at the WPC in Moscow.
The company aims to begin the process together with Gazprom, Gazprombank and Shell, reports ITAR-TASS.
In an earlier statement Sovcomflot announced that it was ready to run ships on LNG to comply with stricter environment protection rules which will be introduced in 2015.
