GTT announced the notification of two LNGCs to be built by Japanese shipbuilder Imabari.
These large vessels will be equipped with the innovative Mark III Flex containment system pioneered by GTT and also includes a new MEGI propulsion system. Vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2017.
These vessels will be operated by Elcano, a Spanish ship owner with a long history of operating GTT-designed LNG carriers.
