TGE Marine Wins NACKS Deal for LNG-Powered Ships

TGE Marine has secured two contracts from Nantong Cosco Kawasaki Shipyard (NACKS) for the engineering and delivery of fuel gas packages including LNG tanks for two car carriers ordered at the yard by UECC. TGE Marine has secured two contracts from Nantong Cosco Kawasaki Shipyard (NACKS) for the engineering and delivery of fuel gas packages including LNG tanks for two car carriers ordered at the yard by UECC.

These ships shall operate in the ECA zones of the North Sea/Baltic Sea and consequently run on LNG as fuel.

TGE Marine’s CEO, Manfred Küver , commented: “We are extremely pleased to have been selected by NACKS as partner for its first LNG propelled ships and that these contracts lift our total order book for high pressure systems to 9 units which leads us to the top market position.”
