Construction of the “Junyang 1”, a super suction dredger ordered by CCCC Guangzhou Dredging Co., Ltd., has recently been initiated in the Netherlands.

With a total length of 167.5 meters, a hopper load capacity of 21,000 cubic meters and a maximum dredging depth of 90 meters, the vessel will have advantages such as advanced technology, high dredging efficiency, energy conservation and environmental friendliness, low cost per cubic meter and multiple equipment support.

After being built up, this Dutch-designed vessel to be powered by double engines and propellers will become one of the world’s most advanced dredgers.
