STX Offshore & Shipbuilding of South Korea hosted a name-giving ceremony for the LNG carrier Pskov after the construction of the vessel was successfully completed.
Pskov is the second in the series of four membrane-type gas carriers of 170,000 cubic meters being built by STX Offshore & Shipbuilding under technical supervision of RS. The vessel was ordered by Sovcomflot OJSC for Gazprom Global LNG with RS/Lloyd Register dual class.
The first vessel Velikiy Novgorod was already launched on January 15, 2013 and Pskov will be delivered to the customer on August 29, stated Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
