It’s been three years since the works started on Teekay’s largest project to-date, FPSO Petrojarl Knarr. In early June, construction of the vessel was completed, and in July 2014, the Petrojarl Knarr FPSO sailed away from the shipyard and was on track to the North Sea to commence its charter contract in the fourth quarter of 2014.
Peter Evensen , Teekay Corporation’ s President and Chief Executive Officer, said: “In late June, we took delivery of the Petrojarl Knarr FPSO from the shipyard in South Korea. Following the expected commencement of its charter contract in the fourth quarter of 2014, the Petrojarl Knarr FPSO, our largest FPSO project to-date, will be eligible for dropdown to Teekay Offshore.”
