Dalby Offshore have recruited two apprentices to gain a ‘Workboat Apprenticeship’ working in conjunction with Whitby Fishing School & Jobmatch, Scarborough.
Many candidates came forward and two were chosen to work offshore on the Dalby Fleet with onshore training given by Whitby Fishing School.
Josh Goodwill 20, from Scarborough and Lewis Wright 18, from Whitby will be taking part in the year long apprenticeship which will see the guys learning all aspects of working on deck. When on board Josh and Lewis will be working with Dalby’s experienced team, on shore they will be based in Whitby, classroom based with exams taking part in 2015.
