Talisman Sinopec is returning its workers back to the Buchan Alpha platform in the North Sea, following an evacuation earlier this week .
The company yesterday said it had flown 61 non-essential personnel from the semi-submersible platform, located 83 miles North East of Aberdeen, following severe weather forecasts.
In an e-mail sent today to Offshore Energy Today, a Talisman Sinopec spokesperson said: “We have begun to transfer the team back onto Buchan today due to the improvement in the weather. We currently have a total of 33 onboard and will continue to upman over the next few days.”
