Singapore will host the 3rd Sustainable Ocean Summit (SOS), the World Ocean Council (WOC) has announced.
This is the first time this international, multi-sectoral, business event dedicated to “Corporate Ocean Responsibility” is being held in Asia. It is scheduled for November 9 to 11, 2015.
SOS 2015 is to bring together leadership companies from the diverse Ocean Business Community including offshore renewable energy, as well as ocean stakeholders from the government, inter-governmental, academic and environment communities, among others.
The SOS will address critical issues for cross-sectoral ocean industry leadership and collaboration, including ocean policy and governance, ocean planning, ocean industry data collection, the role of finance, insurance and legal sectors in responsible ocean use.
