Norway’s DOF informed that Statoil has exercised its first one-year option for the LNG-powered Skandi Gamma platform supply vessel.
The option for the-2011 built, LNG-powered PSV is applicable from February 2014, DOF said in a statement.
The vessel built by STX OSV will continue to operate in the North sea.
DOF has signed another extension for its Skandi Caledonia PSV with Maersk UK starting from October 2015.
