Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry and Mexico-based Vulica Shipping Limited have entered into shipbuilding contracts for two 68,000 dwt self-unloading Panamax bulk carriers, the Nantong based shipbuilder said in a release.
The vessels are designed by Deltamarin with a length of 229 metres and a guaranteed speed not less than 13.5 knots. The two bulk carriers will be delivered before July, 2017.
Hantong had previously built and delivered two 55,000 dwt bulk carriers for Vulica Shipping back in 2012.
