Greatship Global Energy Services Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based subsidiary of Greatship (India) Limited (GIL), has taken delivery of a jack-up drilling rig.
The rig, of Le Tourneau Super 116(E) design, was delivered by Lamprell Energy Ltd. in UAE. The rig was named Greatdrill Chaaru.
The Greatdrill Chaaru is an independent Leg Cantilever type Jack up rig with 15000 PSI pressure rating, designed to operate in water depths of up to 350 feet.
With the delivery of Greatdrill Chaaru, GIL and its subsidiaries currently own and operate five PSVs, nine AHTSVs, two MPSSVs, six ROVSVs and four jack-up rigs.
