130 Renewables is a joint venture between four companies from the north of Holland working together in connecting sustainable energy sources: wind, water, sun and storage.
The main objective is to combine forces, by means of an innovative concept for renewable energy generation: ‘The Off Grid Energy System’.
130 Renewables is planning to set up an Off Grid Test Centre (OGTC) in the north of Holland, specifically on the Afsluitdijk, a major causeway near a place called Den Oever.
Tocardo has already installed and grid connected an array of three T1 tidal turbines at the Afsluitdijk, Den Oever , and further expansion of the site with the deployment of additional tidal turbines has been announced.
