The ship shown in this image, named Kan Tan 312, is the first Havyard 832 PSV delivered from a Chinese shipyard and also the first Havyard design classed by China Classification Society (CCS). The contract between Havyard and Fujien Mawei Shipbuilding was signed in February 2013.
The shipyard delivered the ship to the owner last week, one month ahead of the contracted delivery date.
Sinopec has already received an AHTS of Havyard 843 design, named MV KANTAN 225 in 2012, and still has another newbuild of Havyard 832LSE design to be delivered in 2016.
