Lars Rolner
Heavy lift and transportation universe has been expanded by a new member, United Heavy Lift.
United Heavy Lift is a newly-established heavy lift shipping and project transportation company, founded by Lars Rolner, who previously held various executive positions in the heavy lift industry for over 30 years. Rolner was previously co-owner and Managing Director of Germany’s Sal Heavy Lift company, where he spent 33 years. He left the company in December 2014.
As for the newly established company, United Heavy Lift yesterday, on April 1, 2015, moved into its new Hamburg Headquarters „Am Kaiserkai 69“ – in the heart of Hamburg’s HafenCity.
The new office is located in the Port of Hamburg, near the Elbe Philharmonic Hall, one of Germany’s modern landmarks, opposite the Steinweg Terminal – where break bulk and heavy lift cargoes are handled daily.
According to the company’s press relelease, United Heavy Lift’s target is “to establish long term relationships with well-established ship owners, offering a new choice to customers who require reliable first-class heavy lift transportation.”
The company has teamed up with Arkon Shipping & Projects.
“Through our joined offices we will be responsible for the employment and operation of Arkon’s modern and high quality heavy lift tonnage,” United Heavy Lift said in a press release. [mappress mapid=”1501″]
