Barakah wins topside maintenance gig from KPOC

Barakah Offshore Petroleum’s subsidiary, PBJV Group Sdn Bhd (PBJV), has received the Letter of Award from Kebabangan Petroleum Operating Company Sdn Bhd (KPOC) for the provision of topside maintenance services.

KPOC is a joint operating company comprising PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (40%), ConocoPhillips Sabah Gas Ltd (30%) and Shell Energy Asia Limited (30%).

According to Barakah, the contract is for the provision of topside maintenance services in Sabah, Malaysia.

The contract is for one year effective from April 2, 2015 with an option for extension for one more year. The mobilization is scheduled for May 2, 2015.

The total value of the contract will depend on the actual work orders to be issued by KPOC during the contract period, Barakah said in its Bursa Malaysia filing.
