McConnell Dowell said it was recognised for its achievements on the Australia Pacific LNG pipeline project at the 2015 Infrastructure Partnerships Australia National Infrastructure Awards Night in Sydney.
The APLNG pipeline project was chosen as the winner of the 2015 Contractor Excellence Award and one of four Finalists for 2015 Project of the Year, the company informed in a statement.
McConnell Dowell, in joint venture with Consolidated Contracting Company delivered the engineering, procurement and construction contracts for the project between 2010 and 2014.
The 530 km large-diameter high-pressure gas pipeline and associated facilities extends from the Surat Basin to Curtis Island in Queensland.
