Shell said that it has taken safety to new heights, by launching an all-weather search and rescue service for the oil and gas industry of Australia.
It’s all part of getting ready for Prelude, Shell’s giant floating facility that will liquefy natural gas at sea.
The EC225 helicopter, equipped to cope with extreme conditions in the region, is built by Airbus and operated by CHC.
Shell released a video highlighting all the features of the helicopter.
