Brian Chang resigns from Bergen Group BoD

Brian Chang, known as a founder of a China-based rig builder Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Ltd., has resigned from the board of directors of the Norway-based Bergen Group. Brian Chang, known as a founder of a China-based rig builder Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Ltd., has resigned from the board of directors of the Norway-based Bergen Group.

In an Oslo Bors filing today, Bergen Group, a Norwegian supplier of products, services and solutions to the offshore and maritime industry, said that Chang is leaving his position as a board member of the company “with immediate effect due to personal reasons.”

Chang, a Singapore citizen, is the Chairman and CEO of Brian Chang Holdings Limited, with over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

He will be replaced by Alexander S. Lund will replace as a board member in Bergen Group ASA.
