Petronet LNG, India’s largest importer of liquefied natural gas, said that Jyoti Kiran Shukla has been appointed as Woman Independent Director on the Board of the company.
In a filing to the stock exchange, Petronet LNG informed that the appointment is in effect since March 31.
Petronet operates two LNG terminals, the first at Dahej in Gujarat with the capacity of 10 Mtpa, and the second with a capacity of 5 Mtpa in Kochi, Kerala.
Due to the low utilization of the Kochi LNG terminal, the company started providing services relating to gassing up and cool down of LNG vessels.
